BIO:

  • Born/raised in Ohio
  • Ohio State University - Business Major
  • Transferred to Houston in 1969 by CIT Financial Transferred to Los Angeles in 1973 Returned to Houston in 1976 to start a business Founder and current CEO of TELEMEDX, a provider of telemedicine services to rural hospitals throughout America Entrepreneur of several companies and real estate projects.
  • Wife - Peggy, native Houstonian, UH Cougar Accounting Major Son - Matthew, Baylor University, Bear baseball player in the mid 90's Daughter - Meredith, a Mary Hardin Baylor Crusader Grandchildren - Carson, Cade and Abby.
  • Served on many civic and non-profit organization Boards Served as a Trustee to Pearland ISD Chairman of the Karl Young College League Member of the R.E "Bob" Smith Committee before it was the Rotary Smith Award which he chaired in 1999.
  • Point person in the creation of The Roger Clemens Award (presented annually to the most outstanding college pitcher). The college equivalent to MLB's Cy Young Award.
